Hi guys!

I was just surfing and found this site and didn't know it was new. I'm certainly glad someone thought of doing this. I'm a big fan of Jackie Gleason, Love his music, movies, and television shows. How could this not have been done sooner? Now. How do we get the word out that we're here?

Hi, I just found the site, too, and am elated! I've been a big Gleason fan ever since I watched his weekly Miami Beach series as a child in the 1960's. Did anybody catch the recent PBS airing of "Jackie Gleason: Genius at Work", or the Biography Channel's 2-hr. documentary on him? Both were great. "Genius" focused on his first series in the 50's, including the original Honeymooners, and Bio's explored his entire career up to his passing. I wish it had included a much longer segment on his 1960's series, but it was still the best and most detailed documentary of the Great One that's ever been made.
Also, for those who may not already know, there's a 5-part set of clips on YouTube of the Dean Martin Celebrity Roast of Jackie Gleason, from what appears to be the mid to late 1970's. The entire program is there and is hilarious. The color and sound quality are excellent, as well. Jackie gets up at the end to skewer his hosts. The entire show is a riot!
